  1. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  2. 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

  3. 3 tablespoons butter

  4. 2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each ) golden hominy, rinsed and drained

  5. 2 to 3 teaspoons chili powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  1. In a saucepan, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Yield: 4-6 servings.
