  1. 2 cups Bran Cereal , all-bran or 100% bran

  2. 1 1/2 cup Shredded Carrots--approx. Three

  3. 1 cup Milk

  4. 3/4 cup Drained , crushed pineapple

  5. 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt , not fat-free

  6. 1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour

  7. 2 tsp Baking Powder

  8. 1 tsp Cinnamon , ground

  9. 1/2 tsp Each , baking soda and salt

  10. 1 Egg

  11. 1/2 cup Liquid Honey

  1. Preheat oven to 375 gegrees. Line a 13 x 9 in. metal baking pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang at each end. Lightly butter foil.

  2. )In bowl, combine bran cereal,carrots, milk,pineapple,and yogurt; let stand for 5 minutes.

  3. In large bowl,combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Whisk egg and honey into milk mixture.Pour over dry ingredients and stir until just moistened; don't over- incorporate!

  4. ) Spread into prepared pan, smoothing top.

  5. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool completely in pan on rack. Using foil overhang as handles, remove from pan and cut into bars.
