  1. Sauce

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Olive oil

  3. 3/4 cup 46g / 1.6oz Onion - chopped

  4. 2 Garlic - minced

  5. 2 Tomato paste

  6. 2 1/2 cups 592ml Water

  7. 1 1/4 tablespoons 18ml Oregano

  8. 1 1/4 tablespoons 18ml Basil

  9. Salt - to taste

  10. 1/8 tablespoon 1.9ml Pepper

  11. 1 Mushrooms

  12. Grated parmesan cheese

  1. Serve with macaroni or your choice of pasta.

  2. Heat oil in heavy saucepan, sauteegarlic and onion till tender. Combine remaining [not cheese] and stir into garlic mixture. Cook sauce until it is as thick as you like.

  3. Ten minutes before serving stir cheese into sauce.

  4. It is really good if you toss parmesan cheese into your pasta before serving. As much or little as you like.
