  1. Chocolate And Peanut Biscuits

  2. 250g butter

  3. 2 tsp vanilla

  4. 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

  5. 2 eggs

  6. 525g self raising flour

  7. 250g chocolate bits

  8. 140g crushed peanuts

  9. Beat butter, vanilla and sugar until smooth, add eggs, beat until

  10. well combined. Add sifted flour, chocolate bites and nuts, press

  11. ingredients together using your hands. Divide the mixture into 2

  12. portions, roll each portion into two 40cm logs. Roll each log in

  13. baking paper or foil, refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. Cut logs

  14. into 1cm slices using a serrated knife. Place slices on bakinG-paper

  15. 3cm apart. Bake at

  16. 180 C about 20 minutes

  17. or until lightly browned; cool biscuits on the tray. (The log

  18. dough maybe frozen.)
