  8. 6 oz Fresh shiitake mushrooms,

  10. 1 lb Asparagus, cut into 2 piece

  11. 12 oz Fresh fettucine

  12. 1 tb Fresh thyme, finely chopped

  13. 2 tb Fresh oregano, finely

  14. -chopped

  15. Salt to taste

  16. Pepper to taste

  19. Saute bacon in skillet until crisp, remove to a plate. Drain off

  20. excess fat, then add olive oil to the skillet and cook the mushrooms

  21. until softened. Lightly blanch the asparagus. Cook the pasta briefly

  22. in boiling salted water. Drain the noodles and toos with the

  23. asparagus, bacon, shiitake and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
