  2. BOMBSHELL BROWNIES

  6. 3 Cloves garlic -- finely

  7. -- chopped 1/2 c Butter

  8. 1 c Unsweetened cocoa

  9. 4 Eggs -- lightly beaten

  10. 1 c Sugar

  12. 1 c Flour -- sifted

  13. 3/4 c Walnuts -- chopped

  14. 1/3 c Almonds -- blanched

  15. Preheat oven to 325F. Put the garlic and butter into a

  16. large bowl over a saucepan of water on a gentle heat.

  17. When the butter has melted, stir in the cocoa and mix

  18. well. Add the eggs, sugar, flour and walnuts, stirring

  19. well after each addition. Pour the mixture into a

  20. greased and floured 8X10 inch

  21. cake pan and decorate with the blanched almonds. Bake

  22. for approx. 35 minutes.

  23. The top should be springy, but the inside slightly

  24. moist. Turn out onto a wire rack and cut into squares or bars. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
