  1. 2 stalks celery

  2. 1 medium onion chopped

  3. 2 Tbsp. butter

  4. 8 medium potatoes peeled & cubed

  5. 3 carrots sliced

  6. 3 cups water

  7. 5 chicken bouillion cubes

  8. 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt

  9. 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes

  10. 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  11. dash of pepper

  12. 2 cups milk

  13. 8 oz. colby cheese shredded

  1. Saute celery & onion in butter in large pan until tender. Add potatoes, carrots, water, bouillion cubes and seasonings. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat & mash vegetables coarsely with a potato masher. Add milk & cheese. Heat until cheese is melted. Makes 10 cups Yield: serves 10
