  1. 1 lean beef roast (3 to 4 pounds)

  2. 1/2 cup light soy sauce

  3. 1 low-sodium beef bouillon cube

  4. 1 bay leaf

  5. 3 to 4 whole peppercorns

  6. 1 teaspoon each of dried rosemary, crushed, dried thyme and garlic powder

  7. Bread OR rolls of your choice

  8. 10 - 12 hours or until meat is very tender. Remove meat from broth; shred with a fork. Serve on bread or rolls. yield

  9. 12 servings.
