  1. Corkscrew pasta or pasta of your choice- 1 lb

  2. Olive oil - 1 1/3 cup

  3. Good quality red wine vinegar - 2/3 cup

  4. Crushed garlic - 4 cloves

  5. Fresh snipped basil - 3 tsps

  6. Fresh snipped tarragon - 3 tsps

  7. Dijon mustard - 2 tsps

  8. Freshly ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp

  9. Marinated artichoke hearts with juice - 2 small jars

  10. Blanched broccoli flowerettes - ur choice

  11. Blanched Chinese pea pods - ur choice

  12. Slivered almonds - 1/2 cup

  13. Sliced black olives, drained - 1 large can

  14. Packed freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup

  15. Method

  16. 1.Cook the pasta as per package directions

  17. 2.Prepare the dressing by mixing the oil, vinegar, garlic, basil, tarragon, Dijon mustard and pepper

  18. 3.Add some cold water to the pasta and then drain well.

  19. 4. In a large bowl add pasta and while still hot, shake dressing well and pour over pasta.

  20. 5.Toss well to mix well.

  21. 6.Add remaining ingredients and toss well.

  22. 7.Adjust seasoning to taste.
