  1. 1/3 cup 78ml Jack Daniel's whiskey

  2. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Brown sugar

  3. 1/3 cup 78ml Soy sauce

  4. 1/3 cup 78ml Water

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Lemon juice

  7. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Garlic powder

  8. 2 1/2 lbs 1135g / 40oz Chuck roast

  1. Recipe Instructions 1. Combine whiskey, brown sugar, soy sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and garlic powder, mix well.

  2. Place roast into a plastic bag; add marinade and seal.

  3. Place in a dish; refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

  4. Grill over medium coals (with Jack Daniel's Barrel Chips, soaked in water--if you can find them), about 20 to 25 minutes per side for medium.

  5. Baste occasionally with marinade.

  6. To serve, cut into thin slices.
