  1. 1 lb Beans, lima; dried

  2. 1 lb Sausage, bulk

  3. 1 Onion; chopped

  4. 1/2 Green pepper; chopped

  5. 1/2c Celery; chopped

  6. 1 cn Tomato sauce; (15 oz)

  7. 2 tb Sugar, brown

  8. 1 1/2ts Salt

  9. 1 ts Chili powder

  10. 1/8ts Cayenne pepper

  1. + Directions : Sort and wash beans. Cover with water, and bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and let stand 1 hour. Return to a boil; cover, recude heat, and simmer until almost tender (about 1 hour). Brown sausage in a skillet; add onion, green pepper, and celery. Saute until vegetables are tender.
