  1. 3 c Mashed potatoes

  2. 3 lb Lean pork, ground

  3. 1 c Water

  4. 1/4 ts Nutmeg

  5. 1/4 ts Allspice

  6. 1 tb Salt

  7. 1/4 ts Pepper

  8. 1/2 c Onion, chopped

  9. 2 (2 crust) pies In a saucepan, combine the ground pork, water, nutmeg, allspice, salt, pepper and onion. Cook over moderate heat for 30 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking. Remove from heat; add the mashed potatoes; and mix well. Cool. Fill two pastry-lined plates;adjust top crusts, slashing pastry to allow for the steam to escape as the pies bake. Bake in a hot oven,
