  1. 1 x Pastry for 9 in pie crust

  2. 1 c Dark brown sugar

  3. 1 Tb All purpose flour

  4. 1 ts Ground ginger

  5. 1/2 ts Ground allspice

  6. 3 ea Eggs, beaten

  7. 1 1/2 c Milk

  8. 1 x Whipped cream, garnish

  9. 1 x Beaten egg

  10. 1 x Pinch of Salt

  11. 2 ts Cinnamon

  12. 1/2 ts Ground cloves

  13. 1/2 ts Grated Nutmeg

  14. 1 cn

  15. 14 oz Mashed Cooked Pumpkin

  16. 3 ts Brandy or rum

  1. Line a deep 9 inch pie plate with pastry.

  2. Flute edges and brush bottom of pastry with beaten egg.

  3. Refridgerate.

  4. To prepare filling, combine sugar, salt, flour, cinnamon, ginger,cloves, allspice and nutmeg.

  5. Stir in beaten eggs.

  6. Combine pumpkin (2 cups) and milk.

  7. Add to filling mixture.

  8. Chill well.

  9. Add brandy or rum to filling; pour into pie shell.

  10. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes, lower heat setting to 400 degrees F and bake for 1/2 hour
