  1. 1/2 c Olive oil

  2. 1 lb Fettuccine, freshly cooked

  3. Black pepper

  4. Salt & freshly ground

  5. 2 tb Shallots - minced

  6. 3 lg Garlic cloves - minced

  7. Sliced & pitted

  8. 1/3 c Black olives -

  9. 1/2 c Fresh basil - chopped

  10. Coarsely chopped 4 lg Tomatoes - seeded and Peeled & deveined

  11. 1 lb Shrimp - medium, uncooked,

  12. Romano cheese - grated

  1. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add shrimp, tomatoes, basil, olives, garlic and shallot.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Cook until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes.

  5. Place pasta in serving bowl.

  6. Pour sauce over and toss.

  7. Sprinkle with Romano.

  8. Serve immediately.
