  3. 2 cups regular all-purpose flour

  4. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/2 cup shortening

  7. 1/2 cup regular margarine or butter -- softened

  8. 1/2 cup sugar

  9. 1/2 cup orange juice

  10. 2 cups froot looks cereal -- crush to fine

  13. 2 cups confectioner's sugar -- sifted

  14. 3 tablespoons regular margarine or butter -- softened

  15. 2 tablespoons orange juice

  1. COOKIES Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat shortening, margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and orange juice. Beat well. Add flour mixture. Mix until well combined. Stir in crushed Froot Loops cereal. Drop by level measuring-tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in oven at 350 degrees (F.) for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks. When completely cooled, frost with Orange Icing. Decorate with additional cereal, whole or crushed, if desired.

  2. ICING Measure sugar, margarine and orange juice into small mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
