  1. 6 cups fresh broccoli florets

  2. 1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained

  3. 1/2 cup dried cranberries

  4. 1/4 cup chopped red onion

  5. 3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise

  6. 3/4 cup fat-free plain yogurt

  7. 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar

  8. 1-1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar

  9. 1-1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

  10. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  11. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  12. 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, water chestnuts, cranberries and onion. In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, yogurt, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Just before serving, sprinkle with almonds. Yield: 9 servings.
