  1. 2 c. flour

  2. 1/2 tsp. salt

  3. 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  4. 3/4 c. Crisco

  5. 3 tbsp. soft shortening

  6. 1/3 c. water

  1. In a 3 quart Tupperware mixing bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Add shortening and cut into flour mixture. Add water and stir only until water is used up. Seal the bowl well and shake vigorously until contents is formed into a single ball (about 100 shakes). With a rubber spatula, push dough into a pastry shell. Knead lightly and divide into 3 parts for single crusts. Roll out and fit each one into an 8 or 9 inch pie tin. Prick each generously with a fork on bottom and sides. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until delicate brown. This recipe makes enough crust for a double crust fruit pie and 1 single crust pie with a pudding filling.
