  1. 1 c Ground blanched almonds

  2. 1/2 c Sugar

  3. 1/2 c Minced candied orange peel

  4. 1 c All-purpose flour; sifted

  5. 6 tb Milk; (6 to 8)

  6. 1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate pieces

  7. 1 tbsp of the flour. Mix well, then stire in enough milk to give a smooth, firm dough. Roll into small balls and place, well apart, on a baking shet lined with greased wax paper. Sprinkle with the remaining flour, and bake in a preheated moderate oven

  8. 350 degrees, for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. When cold, sandwich the cookies together in pairs with the melted chocolate. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour before serving. Makes
