  2. (I used my 3.7 quart Kuhn Rikon Pressure Cooker for this recipe. If you have a bigger size, you might want to double the recipe.)

  3. 2 cups dried pinto beans

  4. 1 tsp. 1 T olive oil (Oil is probably optional, but I like to add oil to prevent beans from foaming in the pressure cooker, and the T of olive oil added at the end gave the beans a bit of extra creaminess.)

  5. 1 inches 1 cup water for simmering

  6. 2 T minced garlic

  7. 1/2 tsp. salt (I added 1/4 tsp. more after tasting)

  8. 1/2 tsp. coarse "table grind" black pepper (I added 1/4 tsp. more after tasting)
