  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  5. 4 slices Wisconsin Pasteurized Process cheese

  6. 4 hamburger buns, toasted Lettuce

  7. 4 tomato slices

  8. 4 onion slices Ketchup Mustard Pickle slices

  1. Combine meat, onion and seasonings; mix well. Shape and cook as directed below. To Broil: Place patties on greased rack of broiler pan. Broil both sides to desired doneness. Top each with cheese; continue broiling until cheese is melted. To Grill: Place patties on greased grill over medium coals (coals will be glowing). Grill, uncovered, 5 minutes on each side to desired doneness. Top each with cheese; continue grilling until cheese is melted. Place each patty on bun topped with lettuce, tomato and onion. Top each patty with remaining ingredients.
