  2. 1/4 cup bourbon

  3. 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

  4. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  5. 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1/4 cup dark brown sugar -- firmly packed

  7. 6 pearl onions -- minced

  8. 1 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/2 teaspoon white pepper -- or to taste

  1. Whisk together all ingredients making sure the sugar has dissolved. It works best if you use a glass bowl.

  2. MAKES 1 CUP. This is an incredible marinade for Lamb, pork, chicken or beef. Marinate the meat in the refrigerator over night, using the remainder to baste with during cooking.
