  1. Orange Cake

  2. 6 egg whites (3/4 c.)

  3. 1 3/4 c. sifted flour

  4. 1 1/2 c. sugar

  5. 6 egg yolks

  6. 6 tbsp. fresh orange juice

  7. 1 tbsp. grated orange peel

  8. Salt

  9. In large bowl whip egg whites. Beat until foamy. Gradually beat

  10. in 3/4 cup sugar. Beat to stiff peaks. In small bowl beat egg

  11. yolks, same beater. Gradually beat in 3/4 cup sugar. Blend flour

  12. and orange juice and peel into egg yolks. With spatula fold yolks

  13. into whites. Bake in ungreased tube or bundt pan. Preheat oven

  14. 350 degrees.

  15. 35 to 50 minutes, depends on pan. Dust with

  16. powdered sugar.
