  1. 2 cups low- or full-fat plain yogurt

  2. 1 1/2 cups lowfat milk

  3. 3 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar (or to taste)

  4. 2 cups rolled oats

  5. 1/2 cup wheat or oat bran

  6. 1 cup blueberries

  7. 1 cup strawberries or raspberries

  8. 1/2 cup chopped nuts

  9. 1 apple, peeled, grated, and sprinkled with a little lemon juice to avoid browning

  1. In a medium-size bowl, mix together the yogurt and milk.

  2. Sweeten to taste with honey, syrup, or brown sugar.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring well, then cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
