  1. 1 loaf sourdough (or sweet) baguette

  2. 8 ounces chopped mushrooms of your choice

  3. 1-2 tablespoons butter or olive oil approximately

  4. 8 ounces of brie cheese

  1. Slice baguette into 1/2 inch slices (sometimes you can find presliced baguettes). Saute mushrooms in butter or olive oil until tender and moisture is absorbed. Place on each baguette a thin slice of brie. Top off with small amount of the sauted mushrooms. Place on cookie sheet. At this point, they can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated several hours. When ready to serve, place under the broiler for just a few minutes watching carefully til cheese melts lightly and the edges of bread become golden. Caution as they can burn quickly.
