  4. 2 c Crushed Corn Chips

  5. 1 ea Large Egg Beaten

  6. 2 T Water

  7. 1 ea Env. Onion Soup Mix

  8. 1 lb Lean Ground Beef

  9. 4 oz (1 Cn) Chopped Green

  10. 3 oz (1 C) Monterey Jack Cheese**

  11. 8 oz (1 cn) Tomato Sauce

  12. 1 ea Med. Green Pepper, ChoppedGreen chilies should be drained.

  13. 1 C. --

  14. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  15. Combine corn chips, egg, and water; press into 9-inch pie plate or casserole. Bake 10 minutes.

  16. Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine onion recipe soup mix, ground beef,

  17. chilies, and 1/2 C cheese; evenly press into prepared crust. Top with

  18. tomato sauce, then green pepper and bake 30 minutes. Top with remaining

  19. cheese, then bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and beef is done. --
