  1. 1 pkg. (8 oz.) POLLY-O Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

  2. 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine , softened

  3. 2 cloves garlic , minced

  4. 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

  5. 1/4 tsp. black pepper

  6. 1 loaf (16 oz.) Italian bread

  1. PREHEAT oven to 425°F. Mix all ingredients except bread.

  2. SLICE bread at 3/4-inch intervals almost to bottom of loaf, being careful to not cut all the way through loaf. Spread 1 side of each bread slice with the cheese mixture. Wrap in foil.

  3. BAKE 25 minutes. Serve hot.
