  1. 1/2 cup butter, room temperature

  2. 1 cup sugar

  3. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  4. 3 large eggs, divided

  5. 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  6. 3/4 cup all purpose flour

  7. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  8. 1/4 tsp. salt

  9. 1 cup chopped pecans

  10. 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

  11. 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

  12. 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of an 8 inch square baking pan. Combine the butter and both sugars in a large bowl and beat until creamy. Add 2 of the eggs, beating after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Stir together the flour, cocoa and salt in a small bowl. Beat the flour mixture into the batter. Transfer 3/4 cup of the batter to a medium bowl and beat in the remaining egg. Spread the remaining batter in the prepared pan. Sprinkle the pecans and white chocolate over the batter in the pan. Drizzle with the caramel topping. Spread the reserved batter over the top. Sprinkle with the semisweet chips. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until the center is set. Transfer the pan to a rack and cool the brownies completely before cutting into squares.
