  7. 2 ts Baking powder

  8. 120 g Lard

  9. 2 ts Ginger, ground

  10. 1 t Mixed spice

  11. 250 g Golden syrup

  12. Rub the lard into the oatmeal and mix in the spices and baking powder. Warm

  13. the syrup and mix it into the oatmeal till you have a stiff mixture.

  14. 1 to 1 1/4 hours

  15. 300F, gas mark
