  1. 1 tablespoon reduced-fat margarine-type product

  2. 1 cup uncooked wild rice

  3. 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (4 ounces)

  4. 2 medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)

  5. 2 1/2 cups water

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  8. 1/4 cup Betty Crocker® Bac

  1. Melt margarine in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook wild rice, mushrooms and onions in margarine about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender.

  2. Stir in water, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat.

  3. Cover and simmer 40 to 50 minutes or until rice is tender; drain if necessary. Stir in bacon bits.
