  1. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Cooked, mashed potatoes

  2. 1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7oz Cooked, diced Brussels sprouts

  3. 1 Egg - beaten

  4. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Grated cheddar cheese

  5. 1 Nutmeg

  6. Salt and pepper - to taste

  7. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Flour

  8. Vegetable oil - for frying

  1. Combine potatoes, Brussels sprouts, egg, cheese, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Form mixture into four patties. Season with salt and pepper. Dust patties lightly with flour and place in hot oil. Flip when brown, about two to three minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and serve.

  2. Serves 2.
