  1. 1 head of romaine lettuce.

  2. Seasoned bread croutons.

  3. 1 hard boiled egg

  4. 1 tbsp. of paresean cheese

  5. 1/4 cup olive oil

  6. 1 tsp. dijon mustard

  7. pinch of salt and dash of pepper.

  8. 2 tbsp. of lemon juice or white vinegar.

  9. 1 can anchovies drained and rinsed.

  10. 2 tbsp. of water

  11. 1 clove fresh garlic peeled.

  1. Rip romaine into bite sized pieces and place in bowl.

  2. Dice up egg and add to bowl.

  3. Sprinkle croutons and cheese over lettuce.

  4. In blender combine oil, water, mustard, salt, garlic, pepper, vinegar (lemon) and anchovies. Blend until smooth.

  5. Pour over salad.

  6. If anchovies ar omitted they can be served on the side. You will need to add more salt in the dressing however.
