  1. 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix

  2. 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant banana cream pudding mix

  3. 1 cup water

  4. 3 eggs

  5. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  6. 1-1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

  7. 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

  8. Confectioners' sugar, optional

  1. Banana Nut Cake Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Beat in bananas. Stir in nuts.

  2. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired. Yield: 12 servings.
