  1. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Boneless chicken breast or:

  2. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Mixed vegetables

  3. 4 lbs 1816g / 64oz Red chile peppers (small)

  4. 1/2 Lemon grass

  5. 2 Kaffir lime leaves

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Oil

  7. 1/2 cup 118ml Coconut milk

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Fish sauce

  9. 15 Basil leaves

  10. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Chopped cabbage

  1. Thinly cut chicken into 2-inch strips. If doing veggie version, cut veggies into thin strips. Grind together red chili peppers, lemon grass, and kaffir lime leaves. Heat oil and saute pepper mixture for three minutes. Stir in coconut milk and cook for two minutes. Add chicken (or vegetables) and cook for five minutes of until cooked. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in fish sauce and basil. Serve on bed of chopped cabbage.
