  1. 1 box of chocolate cake mix

  2. 2 cups all purpose flour

  3. 1 cup coco

  4. 1 cup milk

  5. 1/4 cup brewed coffee

  6. 1 tablespoon vanilla

  7. 3 tablespoons orange marmalade

  8. 5 eggs

  9. 1/3 stick sweet butter - softened

  10. 1/2 cup applesauce

  11. Icing:

  12. 8 oz. package cream cheese

  13. 1 cup powdered sugar

  14. 1/2 cup coco

  15. 1 tablespoons instant coffee

  16. 1 tsp rum extract

  17. 1/2 stick softened butter

  1. Preheat Oven 350 degrees:

  2. In large bowl combine all of the dry ingredients for the cake and mix. In a smaller bowl combine all of the wet ingredients for the cake and mix with an electric mixer.

  3. Combine both bowls and mix well with an electric mixer. Place in cup cake trays and bake until the toothpick test comes clean. About 15-20 minutes Combine all of the ingredients for the icing in a medium bowl and mix with an electric mixer. When the cupcakes have cooled top the cupcakes as you use them.
