  1. 1/4c Butter

  2. 1 c Dates (chopped)

  3. 2 Eggs

  4. 1 c Sugar

  5. 1/4ts Salt

  6. 1 ts Vanilla

  7. 1/2c Walnuts (chopped)

  8. 3 c Rice Krispies

  9. 1 Shredded coconut

Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

  1. + Directions : Melt butter in skillet; add dates. In a bowl, beat eggs; add sugar, salt and vanilla. Pour over dates and butter; cook for 3 minutes. Add nuts. Remove from heat and pour over Rice Krispies; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto coconut and form into balls. Yield: 3 dozen.
