  1. Mini-Choco Chips

  2. 2 large eggs

  3. 1/2 cup shortening

  4. 1/2 cup oil

  5. 1 1/2 cup white sugar

  6. 1/3 cup brown sugar

  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract

  8. 1 tsp baking soda

  9. 1/4 tsp baking powder (use 1/8 tsp. for dry humidity areas)

  10. 3 cups unbleached White Flour

  11. 1 Bag Mini Chocolate Chips

  12. Preheat oven 375 degrees.

  13. Whip all ingredients together except flour into a lemon-yellow

  14. color cream. (Wire whisk makes it easier) Gradually add flour 1

  15. cup at a time until well mixed. Should resemble brownie batter.

  16. Add 1/2 Cup extra flour if when you pick up a small piece, leaves

  17. a lot of oil on the fingers (like over-buttered toast does). Add

  18. the chips and stir until well mixed.

  20. the palm of your hand for a smooth ball). Place on ungreased cookie

  21. 1" apart for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow sheet to cool before

  22. placing next batch (otherwise the bottom of the cookie turns a dark

  23. brown).

  24. Makes approx. 6 dozen small cookies.
