  1. 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  2. 2 packages cream cheese -- softened (3-ounce)

  3. 1 can whole kernel corn -- drained (17-ounce)

  4. 1 can 16-1/2-ounce

  5. 1 can chopped green chilies -- (4-ounce)

  6. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  7. 1 can french-fried onions -- divided (2.8-ounce)

  1. Preparation : In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese. Stir in the kernel corn, cream-style corn, chilies and onion; mix well. Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; stir in half of the fried onions. Sprinkle remaining onions on top. Bake 15 minutes longer.
