  1. Ground Cherry Preserve

  2. 1 lb. ground cherries, husked

  3. 1/2 lb. sugar

  4. grated rind of 1 lemon

  5. Combine the fruit and sugar over medium heat and cook slowly for about 20 minutes, or untill the right consistency is obtained.

  6. Add the citrus rind and seal in sterilized jars. BWB for 10 minutes.
