  1. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  2. 2 cloves garlic minced

  3. 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

  4. 1 small white onion sliced

  5. 1 pound broccoli florets

  6. 1/2 red bell pepper sliced in thin strips

  7. 2 tablespoons water

  8. 1 tablespoon cooking sherry

  9. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  1. Heat oil in a heavy skillet.

  2. Add garlic and ginger then stir fry for 15 seconds.

  3. Add onions and stir fry until wilted.

  4. Add broccoli and red pepper and mix well.

  5. Add water and cover cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes.

  6. Mix sherry and oyster sauce or soy sauce in a small container.

  7. Drizzle over vegetables and toss well to mix.
