  1. Slaw

  2. 1 Red cabbage head - shredded

  3. 1 White cabbage head - shredded

  4. 3 cups 187g / 6.6oz Red onion slices - in rings

  5. 3 cups 711ml Green bell peppers - sliced

  6. 14 oz 397g Golden raisins (1 box)

  7. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Sugar - up to

  8. 2 cups

  9. Dressing

  10. 2 tablespoons 30ml Sugar

  11. 2 teaspoons 10ml Dry mustard

  12. 2 teaspoons 10ml Celery seed

  13. 1 teaspoon 5ml Mustard seed

  14. 2 tablespoons 30ml Salt

  15. 2 cups 474ml Red wine vinegar

  16. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Olive oil

  1. SLAW: Shred cabbage. Layer cabbage with onion slices, green pepper slices and raisins. Sprinkle sugar over all; set aside.

  2. DRESSING: In a saucepan, combine sugar, dry mustard, celery seed, mustard seed, vinegar and olive oil; bring to boil.

  3. Cool.

  4. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss lightly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir and serve.
