  1. 1 1/2 cups converted rice

  2. 1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix (we use Mrs. Grass)

  3. 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

  4. 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts , drained

  5. 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

  6. 3 cups water

  7. 6 chicken drumsticks

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Place rice in a layer on the bottom of a 9x13" glass dish.

  3. Top with mushrooms and water chestnuts.

  4. Combine onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and water in a separate bowl, mixing well.

  5. Place chicken in a layer on top of the rice and vegetables.

  6. Gently pour soup mixture over the chicken.

  7. Cook for 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and rice is ready. ?
