  4. 1 large green bell pepper , diced

  6. 1/2 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper

  7. 1 can(s) tomato sauce

  1. Heat oil in pan on medium, brown meat on all sides. Remove from pan, stir in garlic, onion and green pepper and cook until translucent. Stir in salt and black pepper, browned meat, tomato sauce, water (beer)and Simmer until meat is tender and shreds easily, about 1 hour the pieces.

Add Sherry and let simmer. If you add the salt, taste beforehand as you might not need it at all...some sugar always to taste of course...little vinegar ..i like a bit of bite
