  2. 3 eggs

  3. 2 cups milk

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Beat the eggs, then add the milk and salt and continue beating.

  2. Pour into oiled timbale molds or custard cups.

  3. Set in a pan of hot water and bake in a moderate oven until set.

  4. Remove from molds and serve surrounded with peas, bread sauce, tomato sauce, or on cream-gravy toast.

  5. A smaller proportion of milk, 1/4 cup per egg, may be used.
