  1. 1 pond chopped beef

  2. 1 3oz can button mushrooms and liquid

  3. 1 medium onion, diced

  4. 1 10 1/2 oz can cream of mushroom soup

  5. 1 stalk celery, diced

  6. 1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts

  7. 1 cup sour cream

  8. 1/4 tsp. bouquet garni for beef

  9. 3 1/2 cups cooked (1 cup uncooked) rice

  10. 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed

  11. 1/4 tsp. dried dill may be substitute

  1. Directions Sauté chopped beef in moderately hot skillet until beef loses red color. Add vegetables and water chestnuts and continue to cook until vegetables are limp. Stir in seasonings, mushrooms and soup. Simmer until all ingredients are heated and blended. Just before serving, stir in sour cream and heat but do not boil. Serve over hot rice.
