    1. 5 lbs 2270g / 80oz Concord grapes

    2. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

    3. 5 cups 990g / 34oz Sugar

    4. 2 cups 474ml Vinegar

    5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

    6. 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Mixed pickling spices

    1. Cover grapes with water. Bring to a boil. Put the softened grapes through a food mill, colander or sieve and add sugar, vinegar, and salt. Tie pickling spices in a bag and add. Simmer and stir until thick.

    2. Remove spice bag and pour the grape mixture into hot sterilized jars. Seal and process 15 minutes in a boiling-water bath, for pints.

    3. This recipe yields about 4 pints.
