  1. chocolate Lovers Bundt cake

  2. cake

  3. 1 cup butter , softened

  4. 3 cups sugar

  5. 6 eggs

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  7. 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  8. 2 1/2 cups flour

  9. 1/2 cup baking cocoa

  10. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  11. 1 cup sour cream (8 oz container)

  12. 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  13. glaze

  14. 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  15. 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

  16. 1/4 cup butter , cut into cubes

  17. 1 cup confectioners' sugar

  18. 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

  19. 1/4 cup chopped almonds

  20. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  21. Add eggs , one at a time, beating well after each one.

  22. Stir in extracts

  23. Combine the flour , cocoa and baking soda in a small bowl, add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream

  24. Beat just until combined, do not over mix.

  25. Stir in chocolate chips

  26. Pour into a well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.

  27. 325 for 75-90 minutes or until cake tester inserted near the center comes out clean.

  28. Cool for ten minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.

  29. Run a metal spatula or butter knife around sides of pan to loosen cake first.

  30. Combine the chocolate chips , cream and butter in a saucepan.

  31. Cook; stir constantly over low heat until smooth.

  32. Cool slightly.

  33. Gradually whish in confectioners sugar

  34. Stir in extract

  35. Drizzle over cake and sprinkle with almonds
