  1. BBQ BURGERS

  2. (yield: 3 burgers)

  3. 1/2 cup walnuts

  4. 3/4 cup cooked rice

  5. 1/2 onion, chopped

  6. 2 tsp oil

  7. 1 Tbsp vegetarian "bacon" bits

  8. 1/2 Tbsp barbecue sauce

  9. salt and pepper to taste

  10. dash garlic powder

  11. flour

  12. Process walnuts in food processor and pour into a bowl. Process

  13. rice and pour in with walnuts. Saute onion in oil until tender

  14. and add to walnuts and rice along with the rest of ingredients

  15. except flour. Add enough flour to make patties. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Fry in a little oil for several minutes, turning occasionally.

  16. Serve on a bun with barbecue sauce and pickles.
