  1. 4 oz 113g Semisweet chocolate - chopped

  2. 3 tablespoons 45ml Butter

  3. 1 1/2 cups 297g / 10oz Sifted confectioners' sugar

  4. 3 tablespoons 45ml Water

  1. In a heavy-based saucepan or in top of a double boiler, melt chocolate with butter. Whisk in sugar, a little at a time. Whisk in about 3 tablespoons water to thin sauce to glazing consistency. Use immediately or keep warm until ready to use.

  2. This recipe yields enough glaze for 18 doughnuts.
