  1. 3 medium tomatoes, chopped

  2. 1 green onion, sliced

  3. 1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced

  4. 3 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper

  5. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  6. 1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  7. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/8 teaspoon pepper Tortilla chips

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion and garlic. Add green pepper, lemon juice and seasonings; mix well. Microwave on high for 30-45 seconds or until heated through. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Salsa can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Yield: 4 cups.
