  1. 1-1/2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed

  2. 6 bacon strips, diced

  3. 1 medium onion, chopped

  4. 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  7. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

  1. Place beans in a large saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 8*10 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove to paper towels; drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings. Saute onion in the drippings until tender. stir in the vinegar, salt and pepper. Drain beans; place in a large serving bowl. Stir in the onion mixture and bacon. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Yield: 6-8 servings.
